Around us

The Terme Beach Resort located in Punta Marina Terme just 10km from Ravenna, Italy. It is located in the Emilia-Romagna region, precisely in the Adriatic Coast, west coast of Italy. Near the city of Ravenna we find Rimini, Riccione and San Marino but also Bologna and Forlì – Cesena. Ravenna is also easily accessible from cities such as Venice (150 km from Ravenna) and Florence (100 km from Ravenna).

Sport

Terme Beach Resort is the ideal location for various sports activities. The location between the sea and the pinewood makes it possible to practice various sports in nature.

The beachfront location is perfect for practicing many water sports: from wind surfing to kite surfing to rowing or sailing.

The pine forest that extends for several kilometers along the coast has long paths for jogging, mountain biking, or Nordic walking, and you can even combine the paths in the pine forest with long beaches.

Nature

Terme Beach Resort location not only lends itself to various sports but is also perfect for those who love being in contact with nature. Parks and nature reserves are located a few kilometers and all can be visited with or without a guide.

PARCO DEL DELTA DEL PO
The Parco del Delta del Po is a nature reserve that interests Emilia Romagna and Veneto and is known for the flora and fauna typical of the area that you can admire. More than 300 species of birds are visible in this park and this is why it’s very popular with birdwatchers.

VALLI DI COMACCHIO
Valli di Comacchio are part of the Parco del Delta del Po. The panorama and in particular the sunset are unforgettable and it is possible to organize excursions on foot or by boat inside the Park.

SALINE DI CERVIA
In the southernmost area of the Po Delta Park is the Salina di Cervia recognized of international importance for its high naturalistic and landscape value and since 1979 is also a Nature Reserve for animal population. Among the salt marshes you can spot rare animal species such as pink flamingos and other protected species. You can visit the saline with a walking route ‘along the way of the nests’ or venture out for a boat ride sailing along the district canal. La Salina is definitely a paradise for lovers of birdwatching and nature photography.

Ravenna and its events

The city offers a wide choice of events and shows during all seasons for every age group:

Every year visitors, young people and families are attracted by art exhibitions and galleries, conferences, fairs, concerts and attractions.

During the spring/summer period we recommend:

  • Ravenna Festival, the event par excellence that brings together concerts, plays and shows of various kinds.

  • International Organ Music Festival that takes place from July to September.

  • Ravenna Bella di Sera, an event that Takes place every Friday in the historic center of the city in July and August.

  • Festa del mare, the Sea Festival (Marina di Ravenna), traditional Festival of August with fish dishes and products from the hills of Romagna. Market in the center of the town, beautiful fireworks on the sea at the end of the festival.

  • The Pink Night, the New Year’s Eve of the summer that animates the entire Romagna Riviera in July.

  • The Notte Celeste, the great feast of the therml of Emilia Romagna.

  • Ravenna City Sightseeing, the double-decker tour bus that accompanies tourists around the city.

During the autumn/winter period we point out:

  • The Golden Night that takes place in October, in which all the shops of the city center remain open until late at night and organize small shows along the streets of the center.
  • The White Night of Ravenna, where music, mosaic and poetry are told until dawn.
  • Giallo Luna Nero Notte, the literary festival dedicated to crime and noir.
  • Ravenna Mosaico, the first international festival dedicated to contemporary mosaic.
  • Komikazen, the international festival of reality comics.

  • Ravenna Nightmare Film Festival, an international horror film festival.

  • Christmas markets, in December in Piazza del Popolo and in many small villages of the Romagna hinterland
